Today, in class we talked about our mother tongue. This topic came from a essay “Mother Tongue”.  In this essay  they describe the way you talk to your mom.  Some people change the way they walk around there mother. Just like when we change our voice so that the Chinese people can understand stand us at a restaurant. My mother tongue is very diverse. She can talk ebonics and proper english. A home speak very well ebonics  but when we in public, she speak proper english .

Today in class, we  how to correct our blogs. My first blog really wasn’t that good. I it was very brief and didn’t have any details .  We talked about commas  today and the correct ways to use them. Even though I took a couple of naps today, I still managed to get all my work and assignments done. At first it was very difficult, but I managed to understand all of the  rules.  I really enjoyed today lesson, and I know it’s gonna be applied through out the whole year.

Today, in class we were reading a essay.  The essay was “I met a girl named Maria”. At first, I thought these essay was gonna be a love story. The story was about a girl named Maria  and she was just  telling  the readers about how she gets judged just from being a Latina. I learned that some people get judged based of where they come  from.  It is something that happens a lot in society. I never  noticed till today in class.  You might not admit that you do this,  but In  reality you do.  In my the city that I live in judge people. I am from West Mobile the first thing that comes to mind is that I’m rich. I probably can live in a trailer park in West Mobile ,but  that’s is typical what people are gonna think.
